I wonder.
 
if I could stop I would

my mind just goes and goes

the time it swiftly flows

I know I should be glad

but often feel quite sad

I wonder.

I dream of things I’d like

to play, to swim, to hike

I dream of things I need

to write, to learn, to lead

I wonder.

I wear myself right out

I fear, I wish, I doubt

I need to stop this now

I just do not know how

I wonder.
